This notice covers gerganadavid.com, run by Gergana David, APAC Lead for Big Bloom.

What we collect, and why

When you send a form, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, organisation, role and message. If you order the book, we also collect your delivery address and use it to send the book to you. We use it to reply to you, and to arrange the hackathon or conversation you asked about. We email you a copy of your enquiry.

We also measure how the site is used with Google Analytics, so we can improve it. This uses cookies and shares your browsing activity on this site with Google. Visits from the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland aren’t measured.

If you join the newsletter, we keep your name and email address to send you news about Gergana’s work and Big Bloom. Every newsletter has a way to unsubscribe, and you can ask us to remove you at any time.

Most videos play from this website. Any that play through YouTube send nothing to YouTube until you press play, and YouTube’s own privacy policy applies from then on.

Where it goes, and how long we keep it

Form submissions are stored on this website, hosted in New Zealand by Hoopla Hosting. Emails are sent through Amazon Web Services in Australia, and anti-spam checks use Cloudflare. We keep form submissions and newsletter details until you ask us to remove them. Replies to you stay in our mailboxes.

Your rights

You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to remove it. Email [email protected]. You don’t have to give us your details, but we can’t reply without an email address. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
